Welcome to “Living the Word”, a place where we explore various Books of the Bible to gain understanding of God’s Word and how to apply it to our daily lives; how to live it!
Believers in the Lord Jesus are to be a different from unbelievers. How we act reveals what we truly believe and so our “living” should point to the one in whom we believe.
If God’s Word does not affect our behavior then it is simply information. God’s Word calls us to be transformed and conformed into the image of Christ so as to draw others to Him. I invite you to ask three questions about the portion of Scripture you are reading:
- What does it show me about God?
- What does it show me about mankind and about myself?
- What do I need to change in my life in order to obey God’s Word and become more like Jesus?
